FOX offer websites built on top of web applications called Content Management Systems (CMS). These systems allow live editing of website content by users with no knowledge of HTML or web development and without the need to install any software.

CMS Technology
CMSs run on the same web servers hosting your website and not on your local computer, so you can use a CMS directly from your web browser without installing any additional software and you can do it away from your office. We are able to provide different levels of permissions to different users within your organisation.

The CMS systems we use at FOX are built in industrial-standard, well-tested PHP code and utilise advanced MySQL databases to ensure speed and reliability. Each is underpinned by public documentation and a developer community and are used by government agencies and large multinationals.

What can I do with a CMS?
With a CMS, you can add, edit, and remove pages on your website, edit and reorder navigation menus, add or remove images and position tables, create internal and external links and embed rich content. You can upload images and documents directly into the CMS system for use in your website.

Many CMS deployments greatly restrict the content you are able to manage on your website. FOX ensures that your CMS deployment affords you the maximum possible editing capability while also minimising the risk of you “breaking” your website.
