Agile Web Developer

We’re looking for the best undiscovered talent around – not just someone who’s doing a job. You may have formal qualifications, you may have 5 years experience and nothing formal, or you may be a recent graduate with a mind like a fox and a passion for programming and new technology.

Ideally, you have experience leading and collaborating on small and large development projects, extensive knowledge in designing, developing and maintaining code, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to meeting deadlines, are self-managing and have a brain that’s as quick as your fingers and vice versa.

We’re a small informal digital agency that specialises in website development, web applications, software and mobile integrations. We're a workplace that encourages growth (personal and professional), we love new ideas, and are motivated by making beautiful things. The position can be Auckland or Christchurch-based.

You must have a strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of the following:
PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (JQuery library), web standards and unit testing, object-oriented development & design patterns, IA, constructing logical and efficient UIs, setting budget/function/time parameters, designing/developing/maintaining program code in accordance with user requirements, system and technical specifications.

Experience or a strong interest in development for tablets and smartphones would be of benefit.

We pay attractive salary packages typically above the market rate for the for your skills and experience.
